the living world

The Living World is a large place, just as the Grey is a large place. Although it is said that the Living World and the Grey reflect each other, this is not completely true. While Shorelines match, and even there are places where cities match up, being so close to the Chaos means that the Grey shifts.

In the Living World, the sun shines uninterrupted down upon the ground. Plants grow easily, the air stirs and is purer, even in towns full of industry, and there is an abundance of life. There is also a large number of places where the Living World breaches other worlds. In a way, it is appropriate to think of the Living World as the meat of a very large sandwich, with toothpicks holding the lettuce on top to the tomato on the bottom.

For the inhabitants of Light’s Hallow, the city of Love is all that they know of the Living world. However, Love is only part of the larger Rostolvic Empire. The current throne is ruled by the Bredos Family Line, who’s ambition causes friction with the neighboring elven nation. Generally, though, that is a conflict that is far away, and rarely interfers with life at Love.
